Our cottages are scattered through the pines on the shore of Lake Kezar, a lake which has been called one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world. Kezar is that rarity in Maine lakes: warm with a sandy bottom. Across the lake is the Presidential Mountain Range, a backdrop for spectacular sunsets.
Each cottage has its own charm, and all guests seem to have a different favorite, often depending on which cottage they happen upon first! Some of our accommodations are perfect for singles, some for couples, and still others, for families.

Quisisana is known for its superb food. You'll think you're at a four-star restaurant, but you'll never really have to dress up - dress is informal. We serve three meals a day, including our famous Sunday buffet, and Tuesday's lakeside cocktail party, with the sounds of our instrumentalists drifting over the water. (And if you feel like a picnic lunch for your hike or your fishing trip, just ask.)

You can spend your days swimming from one of our two sandy beaches, playing tennis on one of our three clay courts, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, hiking a nearby trail, or just plain relaxing. Many guests seem to put reading on their porch and gazing at the mountains on the top of their list of activities for the day. It's all included. We also have water skiing, motorboats, lake tours, good fishing, and golf just three miles away. Not to mention our card room, and Treble Hall (our indoor "play space") with ping-pong, TV, pool, and plenty of other games.
